Buying or renovating property in Indianapolis usually means juggling two different worlds — the realtor who finds the deal and the contractor who makes it shine. When those two don't talk, budgets slip, timelines stretch, and good investments turn stressful.

Husband-and-wife co-owners Alyssa and Alexis Acuna started Fernandez Realty & Renovations to close that gap. Alyssa handles the real estate; Alexis runs the renovations. Together they walk every property with both hats on: the agent's eye for value and the contractor's eye for what it will really cost to get there. You make one call, and both sides of your investment are covered.

As our individual businesses and personal investing goals grew, so did the opportunity to build something together. By combining Alyssa's real estate expertise with Alexis's renovation experience, we created a resource that offers Indianapolis-area clients more than a traditional real estate or contracting service alone — today we help homeowners, investors, buyers, and sellers navigate every stage of the process with confidence, whether that means preparing a home for market, tackling inspection repairs, evaluating renovation potential, or purchasing a first investment property. Alyssa Acuna got her start in real estate the way many investors do — wanting to understand the process of buying, renovating, and building wealth through property for herself. What began as a way to strengthen her own investing journey quickly grew into something bigger: a genuine passion for helping others reach their goals through real estate.

As a licensed Realtor® serving Indianapolis and the surrounding suburbs, Alyssa has guided first-time homebuyers through one of the biggest purchases of their lives, helped sellers navigate difficult transitions, and partnered with investors building their portfolios. She believes real estate is about more than a transaction — it's about creating opportunity. Today, she combines her investing background, local market knowledge, and renovation insight to give every Indianapolis-area client a real advantage, whether they're buying their first home, selling, or building long-term wealth through real estate.

Alexis Acuna is a general contractor and renovation specialist with extensive hands-on experience transforming homes and investment properties throughout Indianapolis and Central Indiana. His passion for construction and real estate began at a young age, watching family members invest in property and build wealth through real estate. Inspired to create the same opportunity for himself, he committed to learning as many trades as possible — putting in the time and hard work to gain real experience in everything from flooring and drywall to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and full-scale renovations.

Today, Alexis brings that well-rounded knowledge and hands-on experience to every project. Backed by a reliable crew, he has the team and resources to take a renovation from concept to completion — on schedule, on budget, and built to last, so every Indianapolis-area client gets a finished home they're proud of.
